I recommend Mavala, my favourite solvent based but Formaldehyde free Nordens Post and available in a wide range of wonderful colours.

1. Thin coats dry quicker
2. Use their Base 002 base coat, its a miracle worker adding flexibility to the finish.
3. Alternatively use their Ridge Filler, again a top quality product from a highly respected brand, committed to reducing toxins in nail polish.
4. Keep a gap all around the edge of the nail (cuticle and sides) so the product doesn't stick to your skin.
5. Apply in three wide strokes first to the centre, then one side and then the other. Very carefully take the brush under the free edge of the nail and coat the tip with colour.
6. Repeat for 2 coats
7. Finish with Colourfix Top Coat and again, re-apply this after a few days to extend the wear of your polish.
