Green Hands Glass Nail File are 13.5cm long, single sided files. At this size these are perfect for handbags, desks, and makeup bags.

Manufactured in the Czech Republic by a small family firm of glass engravers; they are produced with care and attention, by etching the surface of the glass. With normal use, this top class product does not wear down or blunt like other files.

If you have peeling or brittle nails, you can use this file to bevel the edge of your nail and in so doing, bring the layers of your natural nail together and making it less likely to peel.

They are ideal for manicurists and beauty therapists, the files are simple to sterilise. Can be sterilised with heat, steam, sterilisation fluid or UV light. This cuts down on overheads and ensures a hygienic salon. They are suitable for use on natural or acrylic nails. If using for acrylic and UV Gel nails simply dip in water while filing.

File your nails as regularly as needed for your lifestyle, it may be weekly or it may be daily for a quick tidy up.  Green Hands would recommend you file in one direction at a time, from outside to centre.

The best shape for natural nail strength is to look at the shape of your cuticle and try to mirror this; it will give you a natural curve, and give you the neatest finish. Use the file on the upper edge of the nail at an angle to bevel the edge when finished, this reduces the likelihood of peeling, and chipping.If your nails are already strong then go with any shape you choose, you will find the glass file makes light work, and its consistent filing edge makes it easier to file a full set of nails to the same length and angle very quickly.
